Can I request urgent electrical help?
Yes. State the urgency in your request. CID will need to confirm provider availability and timing; submitting an enquiry is not a confirmed emergency booking.
Can I request an electrical certificate of compliance?
You can include an inspection or certification enquiry in your request. The work, provider authorisation and any remedial requirements must be confirmed before a certificate can be promised.
Will the electrician quote before starting?
Ask for the assessment or call-out charge and the proposed scope before the visit. Some faults need an inspection before repair costs can be confirmed.
